Als ich die CD einlegte, brauchte ich etwas, bis sich mein Ohr an den Brit-Pop Reggae gewöhnt hatte. Diese Minute sollte man seinem Ohr gönnen, erwartet einen doch eine tolle Cover CD von Ali Campbell (the legendary UB40 voice). Das Covern von Songs ins Reggae hat ja eine lange Tradition, Ali Campbell übertreibt es zwar etwas mit einem Cover-Album ;-) Nichts desto trotz ist Great British Songs ein schönes (Brit Pop) Roots Album. Sowohl laut aufgedreht als auch dezent im Hintergrund gefällt mir die CD (2010 KB)
